Thoughtful psychiatry,
delivered with discretion.

A practice built for adults who want to feel understood — not rushed. We take the time to look closely at what’s happening, make sense of your symptoms, and build a plan together that feels clear and workable. All sessions are by secure video, and all care is direct, steady, and personal.

About the practice

A single practice. A single point of contact.

Care that is deliberate, uncluttered, and grounded in direct connection.

I provide private, telehealth‑based psychiatric consultation for adults in California. The practice is intentionally small — every evaluation, every follow‑up, and every message is handled directly by me. No layers. No handoffs. No portals full of noise.

My work centers on careful listening, clear assessment, and treatment planning done collaboratively rather than prescribed from a template. The goal is simple: help you understand what’s happening, what your options are, and how to move toward stability with clarity.

I do not prescribe controlled substances.

About Me

I’m a double board‑certified adult psychiatrist with over a decade of experience across settings where clarity and steadiness matter most:

  • Street psychiatry

  • Forensic inpatient psychiatry

  • Corrections psychiatry

  • Community mental health

  • Addiction treatment

  • Nursing home consultation

  • Primary‑care consultation

These environments shaped how I practice: grounded, practical, and human. I bring steadiness, presence, and a clear clinical lens to each appointment — not urgency, not algorithmic care, and not rushed decision‑making.

My role is to help you make sense of your symptoms, understand the landscape of treatment options, and move forward with a plan that feels coherent and sustainable.

THE APPROACH

Care measured in attention, not volume.

Every consultation follows three commitments. They shape the tone, the pace, and the clarity of the work — regardless of what brings you in.

Unhurried Evaluation

Understanding requires time. Sessions are long enough to take in the full picture — your history, context, patterns, and what hasn’t worked before. The goal is clarity, not speed. Diagnosis emerges from listening, not from reaching for the nearest label.

Integrative Perspective

Medication is one tool, not the entire plan. Recommendations consider sleep, physiology, stress patterns, lifestyle, and prior treatment responses. The focus is on coherence — how the pieces fit together — not on medication alone.

Direct Access

You work directly with me. No rotating providers. No care coordinators. No layers between you and your psychiatrist. Continuity is part of the treatment, not an optional feature.

Clinical Services

  • Care here is grounded, steady, and measured in attention. These are the core clinical modalities woven into your visits — not separate billable services.

    • Diagnostic Evaluation — Comprehensive psychiatric assessment including history, symptoms, differential diagnosis, and a biopsychosocial formulation.

    • Medication Management — Ongoing psychopharmacology follow‑up with attention to efficacy, side effects, and safety.

    • Integrative Psychiatry — Evidence‑based lifestyle, nutritional, mind‑body, and behavioral interventions alongside medication.

    • Psychotherapy — Time‑limited, goal‑oriented therapy drawing from CBT, ACT, psychodynamic, supportive, and mindfulness‑based approaches.

These modalities are combined thoughtfully based on your needs, history, and goals.
